Past Perfect Tense:- चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे

Structure:- subject+had+3rd verb+object

  • Past Perfect Tense:- past perfect end in this चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे and we use had after the subject and use 3rd form of a verb.

  2. आपने पहले भी ऐसी गलती की थी- you had made such a mistake before also.
  3. वह घर जा चुकी थी- she had gone home.

B.Negative:-

Structure:- subject+had+not+3rd verb+object

EXAMPLE:-

  1. वह घर नहीं गई थी-she had not gone home.
  2. उसने तब तक कुछ नहीं लिया था- he had not taken anything till then.
  3. अस्पताल में मरीज की मौत नहीं हुई थी- The patient had not died in hospital.

EXAMPLE:-

  1. क्या आपने अपना काम पूरा कर लिया था?- had you finished your work?
  2. क्या उसने सजा दी थी?- had she punished?

EXAMPLE:-

1.क्या तुम स्कूल नहीं गए थे?- had you not gone to school?

2. क्या उसने खेल नहीं खेला था?- had she not played the game?

3.क्या वे कॉलेज नहीं गए थे?- had they not gone to college?
